Welcome to the official home of the Bass Chumps.
Bass chumps is a bass club based in Central Texas. We have members who are located in Conroe, Giddings, Bastrop, and the Austin Area. We have one club tournament each month and award an Angler of the Year based on point totals.

History of the Bass Chumps
The Bass Chumps club was started in 2007 by three guys who enjoyed fishing together. They wanted to fish some low key tournaments so the started up the Bass Chumps. The club gained new members in May of 2007 when they fished a best two out of three tournament vs. ABF-Austin Bass Fishing.

August Tournament Results
he Bass Chumps hit Coleto Creek Resorvoir on 8-9-08 for their August Tournament. 12 anglers (6 teams) competed from daylight to 1:00 P.M. on an "extremely" HOT day. While the weather was hot, the fishing proved to be more than a little tough. Congratulations to our newest "Chumps", Jug and Mike Siegler, who took 1st Place with 7.9 pounds. They were very impressive in their "chumps" debut, being the only team to bring in a limit. TxBucky and Bage took home 2nd place with 2 fish that weighed 3.14 pounds. Dean and Daniel grabbed 3rd place with 3.7 pounds. Also, in his first "Bass Chumps" tourney, Cody B. won "Big Bass" with his 2.11 lb. "lunker". However, that was NOT the biggest catch of the day.....as several teams reported catching some 3 foot "gators" during the tourney......(all safely released)....never a dull moment for the Bass Chumps. Anyway, Congrats to Jug/Mike and we look forward to seeing everyone on September 6 at Lake Travis.
